Charlotte’s Web Pattern 10 years old  - Koigu is celebrating Charlotte’s Web’s 10^th anniversary. The pattern is now legendary among knitters. The usual wisdom in the knitting world 10 years ago was that lace and variegated yarns simply do not mix. Designer and partner of Koigu Wool Designs Maie Landra defied the rule with the creation of the Charlotte's Web shawl.  All who knits the Charlotte’s Web shawl in their own combination of colourways develop their own piece of art. The popularity of the shawl has not waned over the ten years.

For the Anniversary celebration Maie Landra has designed two new shawls – Charlotte’s Daughters – “Joy” and “Nellie” shawls.  Patternworks was the first to feature the Charlotte’s Web 10 years ago. The new pattern will be featured in Patternwork’s www.patternworks.com  fall catalog and will be at all stores who carry Koigu yarn.
