Handknit Yarn Studio’s shop is located in the heart of James St North, a vibrant shopping and entertainment district in downtown Hamilton, Ontario. Over the years, they have helped to build a strong community of knitters and makers, and provided a great meeting place for crafters to get together. Formerly Yarn Glorious Yarn, The Little Yarn Store is reopening with a new name and new owner on April 29th, just in time for LYS Day! This is their first year participating in LYS Day and they will be doing a giveaway/raffle, having drinks and treats, and celebrating the new yarns available in store.
With a 10-year history of bringing in the best international and domestic yarns to Australia, Yarn Glorious Yarn has provided the community with the beautiful goods they need to create heirloom quality pieces. As they reopen they are excited to be a part of the Koigu community and showcase new yarns to Queensland.

Fancywork Yarn Shop

This year for LYS Day, Fancywork Yarn Shop has paired with Hearts Unknown Education, an organization that uses the creative arts to offer imaginative experiences in a safe and supportive environment, guiding young people (K-12) who may be struggling with anxiety and depression.
They have gathered more than FORTY items valued at over $2500 to raffle off on LYS Day. 100% of raffle ticket sales will be donated to Hearts Unknown Education. Help local youth at risk and drop your raffle tickets into the prize basket – or baskets – of your dreams!
The Salty Sheep
