KPPPM Baby Booties Galore!

We recently asked our Koigu twister, April, to knit as many baby booties as she could out of Koigu KPPPM and the results are adorable!

We found out it only takes 14g to make an entire pair!!!
This means you could get almost 2 pairs out of a pencil skein (25g) and definitely get 3 pairs out of ONE 50g KPPPM/KPM skein. What an excellent way to use your stash Koigu skeins and make a quick lovely gift for little ones in your life.

The pattern used is an excellent, easy pattern from Churchmouse Studio designed to use our Koigu Painter’s Palette Premium Merino (KPPPM). You can find it here>>

The PDF comes with 3 different gauge options, we of course used our fingering weight merino for ours, but you could use Koigu Jasmine for the DK weight version and Koigu Cheers for the worsted weight version.

April found she could simply twist some yarn together for the baby bootie tie rather than spending time making a tiny i-cord, so if you make these, feel free to do the same.
