This month’s collector colour celebrates another massive sporting event that’s hosted here in North America, the US Open! First FIFA, the Olympics of football/soccer and now the Olympics of tennis!
While we are not huge tennis fans here at Koigu (the closest I get to playing tennis is Wii), I have always loved the fashion and bright colours surrounding the sport. This month’s colourway is inspired by the fluorescent yellow of tennis balls and the vibrant greens and blues of the court itself.
(for those who aren’t avid watchers of tennis, FORTY- LOVE is a reference to the scoring system in tennis!)
