The final collector colour of our floral summer series is here! The golden sunsets of summer are still here, but a little earlier & a little chillier, but full of promise of a busy September ahead!
This month’s collector colour is inspired by the colourful carefree days of childhood summer. You know those hazy hot days of summer where you seemed to just live in your bathing suit? Or the family camping trips where all your camping gear was colourful and you were surrounded by nature waiting to be explored?
This coming month’s collector colour is inspired by the cheerful picnic season of the summer. Being surrounded by the buzzing of honeybees in the flowers, gingham blankets and sandwiches in the sunshine.
There’s something special about the sight of fishermen at work and the salty smell of the seaside that just screams SUMMER IS FINALLY HERE! This month’s collector colour is inspired by just that: the bold nautical reds and blues that dot the shoreline in the form of lighthouses, buoys, boats and fishing gear.
Having a Local Yarn Store nearby that you frequent almost exclusively is the best! You know exactly where all of your favourite yarns are (like Koigu, of course), the shop owner knows your name and asks how your most recent project is coming along, etc. So lovely!
